An Important One Health Dutch project – Funded by the Ministry of Health, The Netherlands OneHealth portal Zoonoses may pose a health risk to humans and animals. Signaling of a zoonosis is important for timely action can be taken in both the human and the veterinary domain. Outbreaks of avian influenza and Q fever have shown that the effect can be large for public and animal health. The OneHealth portal is intended for professionals from the human and the veterinary domain. It is a digital platform for human-veterinary information exchange and cooperation to facilitate. Target groups are veterinarians, doctors, employees of human and veterinary research institutes and other professionals working in the field of zoonoses and the risks to it. In OneHealth portal existing alert services housed as vetinf @ ct, inf @ ct and EZIPs (web-based Emerging Zoonoses Information and Priority System). In the calendar you can find current information about OneHealth activities in the Netherlands and abroad. Besides information will in future also be possible to exchange information or to use the portal for joint projects. This secure member site for different purposes can be used by professionals.
