President Donald J. Trump’s visionary White House Office of Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy will help fortify and refresh the U.S. President’s “Making America Healthy Again” motto through an inventive and far-sighted revolutionary health care strategy.

Dr. Gerald Parker [DVM, PhD], is a particularly proficient appointee as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Biosecurity and Pandemic Response in the National Security Council.  Parker, a *former associate dean of Global One Health at Texas A&M University was tapped to serve at OPPR.

*Note, as Dean and prior thereto, Dr. Parker’s impeccable credentials as a nonpartisan leader in the national and international One Health Movement  (One Health is the collaborative efforts of multiple disciplines working locally, nationally, and globally to attain optimal health for people, animals, plants and our environment.)  portended then and now to make him an invaluable “Guiding light” towards promoting “One Health implementation [that] will [and has] help[ed] protect and/or save untold millions of lives in our generation and for those to come.”
