The concept of One Health is now widely embedded in the life sciences community. It brings in a range of disciplines to improve the health of people, as well as animals and the environment. “It is a mixture of different aspects, concepts and ideas,” says Professor Bruce Whitelaw, interim director of the University of Edinburgh’s Roslin Institute.
