Important Czech Republic Organizations Join Worldwide One Health Movement

 

Recently the One Health Initiative Autonomous Pro Bono team was contacted by Prof. MVDr. Karel Hruska, CSc., Manager and editor, CENTAUR Global Network and Editor-in-Chief of Veterinarni Medicina advising us that two major Czech Republic organizations are strong supporters of the One Health concept:

  • Biomedical Technology, Epidemiology and Food Safety Global Network (Veterinary Research Institute, Brno, Czech Republic)
  • Veterinarni Medicina, the international journal for biomedical and veterinary sciences 

Dr. Hruska said “The network has about 3000 members, who have registered their interest in 27 fields. A knowledge dissemination is running from 1997, the distance learning e-courses on Good Research Practice from 2000. People from 45 countries, PhD students of medical and veterinary medical sciences, pharmacology, biochemistry, molecular biology, agriculture etc., have participated in the courses in the last decade.
