International One Health Platform Project Evolving
A nascent international “One Health Platform” project http://onehealthplatform.com/engine/ has been developing with various hopeful features aimed at promoting and implementing the One Health concept. It currently has several prominent One Health supporting partners http://onehealthplatform.com/engine/?page_id=76.
Since 2011, three International One Health Congresses http://onehealthplatform.com/engine/?page_id=222 have been organized on a biennial basis. The fourth edition will be held in Melbourne, Australia, in December 2016. More information is available at http://oheh2016.org
In order to ensure the continuity of the International One Health Congresses, the One Health Platform will be responsible for organising subsequent editions. The World Veterinary Association/World Medical Association Global Conference on One Health which was held in Madrid, Spain on 21-22 May 2015, brought together 330 delegates from 40 countries around the world to discuss the One Health Concept. Download the conference report and presentations here.
