One Health Letter Endorsement sent to U.S. President (The White House) from 7 United States Senators

February 12, 2015, Washington, DC (USA)—Led by Minnesota’s United States Senator Al Franken, seven (7) U.S. Senators sent a letter to the President of the United States, Barak Obama supporting and endorsing the One Health collaborative approach saying:

As you address current and future zoonotic diseases—human diseases with animal origins—we write to urge you to pursue a multidisciplinary, multisectoral approach that encompasses both human health expertise, and animal and environmental health disciplines”
