One Health Zoonotic Disease Prioritization for Multi-Sectoral Engagement in Pakistan
Zoonotic diseases are diseases capable of spreading between animals and humans. Most known human infectious diseases and about three-quarters of newly emerging infections originate from animals. Some zoonoses pose a significant threat to human public health, while others may have tremendous agricultural and social or economic impacts.
