An Overview of Safety and Health for Workers in the Horse-Racing Industry NIOSH Publication No. 2009-128: April, 2009   http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/docs/2009-128/      This document addresses some of the health and safety issues faced by workers in the horse racing industry. It is a good example of “One Health” in practice - the document was co-written by a veterinarian, a physician, and safety specialists on staff at NIOSH, with input from other professionals around the country, and addresses an issue important to both human and animal health.   Provided May 19, 2009 by:   John D.
