An Overview of Safety and Health for Workers in the Horse-Racing Industry NIOSH Publication No. 2009-128: April, 2009 http://www.cdc.gov/niosh/docs/2009-128/ This document addresses some of the health and safety issues faced by workers in the horse racing industry. It is a good example of “One Health” in practice - the document was co-written by a veterinarian, a physician, and safety specialists on staff at NIOSH, with input from other professionals around the country, and addresses an issue important to both human and animal health.
