“The One Health Initiative goes on.

Last month at the General Assembly meeting of the World Medical Association (WMA) meeting in Bangkok, the World Medical Association (WMA) and World Veterinary Association (WVA) signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate in the One Health Initiative. The WMA has existing policy to cooperate with the veterinary profession and this effort is in furthering that policy.

Dr. Faouzi Kechrid, President WVA and Dr. Tjeerd Jorna, former president of the WVA were in attendance at the meeting. Dr. Kachrid signed for the WVA and I [Dr. Cecil B. Wilson] signed as president of the WMA.”
